Number of international tourist arrivals reached 7.05 mil in 2017 in Tunisia, according to Eurostat. This is 23.2 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, number of international tourist arrivals in Tunisia reached an all time high of 7.83 mil in 2010 and an all time low of 3.89 mil in 1996. When compared to Tunisia's main peers, number of international tourist arrivals in Algeria amounted to 2.45 mil, 58.3 mil in Italy and 2.27 mil in Malta in 2017.
Tunisia has been ranked 47th within the group of 149 countries we follow in terms of number of international tourist arrivals, 10 places behind the position seen 10 years ago.
