Lard production reached 3,200 tonnes in 2014 in Lithuania, according to Faostat. This is the same as in the previous year.
Historically, lard production in Lithuania reached an all time high of 11,200 tonnes in 1992 and an all time low of 2,400 tonnes in 1998. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, lard production in Belarus amounted to 24,000 tonnes, 80.0 tonnes in Estonia, 8,034 tonnes in Latvia and 331,120 tonnes in Russia in 2014.
