Historically, leek production in Switzerland reached an all time high of 14,085 tonnes in 2014 and an all time low of 8,273 tonnes in 2006. When compared to Switzerland's main peers, leek production in Austria amounted to 5,761 tonnes, 150,942 tonnes in France, 85,861 tonnes in Germany and 9,357 tonnes in Italy in 2016.
