Leek production reached 227,172 tonnes in 2016 in Turkey, according to Faostat. This is 1.94 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, leek production in Turkey reached an all time high of 340,000 tonnes in 1990 and an all time low of 223,303 tonnes in 2014. When compared to Turkey's main peers, leek production in Greece amounted to 20,548 tonnes and 13,501 tonnes in Iran in 2016.
