Historically, lentils production in Morocco reached an all time high of 69,550 tonnes in 1986 and an all time low of 2,004 tonnes in 2016. When compared to Morocco's main peers, lentils production in Algeria amounted to 10,071 tonnes, 18,093 tonnes in Spain and 2,697 tonnes in Tunisia in 2016.
