Based on a comparison of 51 countries in 2013, Luxembourg ranked the highest in life insurance reserves as a percentage of GDP with 268% followed by Ireland and United Kingdom. On the other end of the scale was Georgia with 0.057%, Albania with 0.072% and Belarus with 0.107%.
