Lignite coal production reached 41,696 kt in 2015 in Serbia, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 26.0% more than in the previous year.
Historically, lignite coal production in Serbia reached an all time high of 48,342 kt in 2007 and an all time low of 33,081 kt in 2014.
Serbia has been ranked 11th within the group of 35 countries we follow in terms of lignite coal production.
