Lignite coal production reached 654 kt in 2008 in Vietnam, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 6.32% less than in the previous year.
Historically, lignite coal production in Vietnam reached an all time high of 698 kt in 2007 and an all time low of 355 kt in 2005.
