Mercury production reached 5,000 kg in 2011 in Finland, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 44.4% less than in the previous year.
Historically, mercury production in Finland reached an all time high of 217,134 kg in 1987 and an all time low of 3,400 kg in 1970.
