Net foreign assets reached -299 XAF bil in 2017 in Chad, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.43 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, net foreign assets in Chad reached an all time high of 617 XAF bil in 2008 and an all time low of -304 XAF bil in 2016. When compared to Chad's main peers, net foreign assets in Cameroon amounted to 2,004 XAF bil, 442 XOF bil in Niger, 9,277 NGN bil in Nigeria and -31.1 SDG bil in Sudan in 2017.
