Net foreign assets reached 214 EGP bil in 2017 in Egypt, according to the National Central Bank. This is 205 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, net foreign assets in Egypt reached an all time high of 305 EGP bil in 2010 and an all time low of -204 EGP bil in 2016. When compared to Egypt's main peers, net foreign assets in Israel amounted to 457 ILS bil, 109 LYD bil in Libya, 1,998 SAR bil in Saudi Arabia and -31.1 SDG bil in Sudan in 2017.
