Net foreign assets reached 407 EUR bil in 2017 in France, according to the National Central Bank. This is 17.9 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, net foreign assets in France reached an all time high of 656 EUR bil in 2010 and an all time low of -2.06 EUR bil in 1991. When compared to France's main peers, net foreign assets in Belgium amounted to 110 EUR bil, 1,645 EUR bil in Germany, -179 EUR bil in Italy and -152 EUR bil in Spain in 2017.
