New businesses registered in terms of a number of limited companies reached 671 firms in 2020 in Belize, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 12.7% less than in the previous year.
Historically, new businesses registered in terms of a number of limited companies in Belize reached an all time high of 1,000 firms in 2011 and an all time low of 583 firms in 2009.
