New businesses registered in terms of a number of limited companies reached 2,020 firms in 2016 in Iraq, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 12.2% more than in the previous year.
Historically, new businesses registered in terms of a number of limited companies in Iraq reached an all time high of 11,262 firms in 2004 and an all time low of 1,801 firms in 2015.
