New businesses registered in terms of a number of limited companies reached 8,234 firms in 2020 in Latvia, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 14.2% less than in the previous year.
Historically, new businesses registered in terms of a number of limited companies in Latvia reached an all time high of 16,840 firms in 2011 and an all time low of 7,171 firms in 2009.
Latvia has been ranked 65th within the group of 111 countries we follow in terms of new businesses registered in terms of a number of limited companies.
