Non-performing loans as a share of bank loans reached 5.14% in 2022 in Uganda, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.05% less than in the previous year.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank loans in Uganda reached an all time high of 10.4% in 2016 and an all time low of 1.51% in 2005.
