Non-performing loans reached 1.87 EUR bil in 2018 in Slovakia, according to the National Central Bank. This is 9.10 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, non-performing loans in Slovakia reached an all time high of 3.79 EUR bil in 1998 and an all time low of 0.610 EUR bil in 2006.
Slovakia has been ranked 20th within the group of 22 countries we follow in terms of non-performing loans, 42 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
