Non-performing loans reached 29,415 VND bil in 2009 in Vietnam, according to the National Central Bank. This is 15.6 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, non-performing loans in Vietnam reached an all time high of 134,405 VND bil in 2016 and an all time low of 25,441 VND bil in 2008. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, non-performing loans in China amounted to 507 CNY bil and 364 THB bil in Thailand in 2009.
