Non-performing loans reached 128,790 VND bil in 2017 in Vietnam, according to the National Central Bank. This is 4.18 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, non-performing loans in Vietnam reached an all time high of 134,405 VND bil in 2016 and an all time low of 25,441 VND bil in 2008. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, non-performing loans in Cambodia amounted to 1,678 KHR bil, 1,706 CNY bil in China and 426 THB bil in Thailand in 2017.
