Number of bank employees reached 168,800 persons in 2017 in Poland, according to the National Central Bank. This is 2.45 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, number of bank employees in Poland reached an all time high of 188,969 persons in 2008 and an all time low of 119,733 persons in 1993. When compared to Poland's main peers, number of bank employees in Czech Republic amounted to 41,566 persons and 597,319 persons in Germany in 2017.
