Number of new executive cars sold reached 18.8 thousand in 2016 in Portugal, according to ACEA. This is 20.2 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, number of new executive cars sold in Portugal reached an all time high of 22.4 thousand in 2007 and an all time low of 11.5 thousand in 2013. When compared to Portugal's main peers, number of new executive cars sold in France amounted to 140 thousand, 15.2 thousand in Ireland and 93.5 thousand in Spain in 2016.
