Number of passenger cars with a petrol engine reached 0.256 mil in 2016 in Latvia, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 10.8% less than in the previous year.

Historically, number of passenger cars with a petrol engine in Latvia reached an all time high of 0.706 mil in 2008 and an all time low of 0.204 mil in 1993.
