Historically, oat production in Germany reached an all time high of 4,404 kt in 1974 and an all time low of 536 kt in 2016. When compared to Germany's main peers, oat production in Austria amounted to 94.8 kt, 16.4 kt in Belgium, 345 kt in France and 1,358 kt in Poland in 2016.
