Official production of quality PSR wines reached 2,083 1,000 hl in 2009 in Hungary, according to Eurostat. This is 3.45 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, official production of quality PSR wines in Hungary reached an all time high of 2,181 1,000 hl in 2005 and an all time low of 1,722 1,000 hl in 2006. When compared to Hungary's main peers, official production of quality PSR wines in Austria amounted to 2,377 1,000 hl, 210 1,000 hl in Czech Republic and 370 1,000 hl in Slovakia in 2009.
