Based on a comparison of 42 countries in 2022, Indonesia ranked the highest in Oil, palm fruit - Area harvested with 14,953,126 ha followed by Malaysia and Nigeria. On the other end of the scale was Suriname with 552 ha, Central African Republic with 640 ha and Madagascar with 1,814 ha.
