Oil production reached 69.2 mil tonnnes in 2017 in the European Union, according to the BP Statistical Review of World Energy. This is 1.91% less than in the previous year.
Historically, oil production in the European Union reached an all time high of 176 mil tonnnes in 1999 and an all time low of 32.8 mil tonnnes in 1972.
