Petrol-Fuelled Cars (As % of New Cars Sold) in Romania

Petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold reached 41.2% in 2022 in Romania, according to ACEA. This is 4.49% more than in the previous year.

Historically, petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold in Romania reached an all time high of 66.7% in 2019 and an all time low of 39.4% in 2021.

Romania has been ranked 16th within the group of 30 countries we follow in terms of petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold.
