Based on a comparison of 26 countries in 2019, Norway ranked the highest in pharmaceutical consumption of analgesics with DDD 71.1 followed by Sweden and Finland. On the other end of the scale was Greece with DDD 1.40 , Latvia with DDD 6.50 and Hungary with DDD 8.30 .
