Phosphate rock production reached 1,830 kt in 2015 in Kazakhstan, according to the National Statistical Office. This is the same as in the previous year.
Historically, phosphate rock production in Kazakhstan reached an all time high of 3,400 kt in 1992 and an all time low of 610 kt in 2000. When compared to Kazakhstan's main peers, phosphate rock production in China amounted to 142,039 kt, 10,700 kt in Russia and 700 kt in Uzbekistan in 2015.
