Pig iron production reached 33,000 kt in 2015 in Brazil, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 3.13% more than in the previous year.
Historically, pig iron production in Brazil reached an all time high of 114,732 kt in 1980 and an all time low of 11,022 kt in 1981.
