Pig iron production reached 3,000 kt in 2015 in Sweden, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 2.53% less than in the previous year.
Historically, pig iron production in Sweden reached an all time high of 36,153 kt in 1974 and an all time low of 1,966 kt in 2009.
Sweden has been ranked 30th within the group of 52 countries we follow in terms of pig iron production.
