Based on a comparison of 13 countries in 2007, Romania ranked the highest in pigs livestock in a herd size of 1-2 sows with 2,473 '000 followed by Poland and Hungary. On the other end of the scale was France with 2.00 '000, United Kingdom with 3.00 '000 and Lithuania with 8.00 '000.
