Based on a comparison of 5 countries in 2007, Hungary ranked the highest in pigs livestock in a herd size of 1-9 animals with 580 '000 followed by Bulgaria and Germany. On the other end of the scale was Czechia with 19.0 '000, Portugal with 73.0 '000 and Germany with 85.0 '000.
