Based on a comparison of 20 countries in 2007, Germany ranked the highest in pigs livestock in a herd size of 100-199 sows with 652 '000 followed by Spain and Netherlands. On the other end of the scale was Cyprus with 1.00 '000, Estonia with 2.00 '000 and Malta with 2.00 '000.
