Potato consumption per capita reached 48.8 kg in 2017 in Lithuania, according to Faostat. This is 28.0 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, potato consumption per capita in Lithuania reached an all time high of 137 kg in 1996 and an all time low of 48.8 kg in 2017. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, potato consumption per capita in Belarus amounted to 178 kg, 66.9 kg in Estonia, 124 kg in Latvia and 112 kg in Russia in 2017.
