Based on a comparison of 12 countries in 2016, Hungary ranked the highest in price of raw tobacco with 415,196 National currency per tonne followed by Switzerland and Bulgaria. On the other end of the scale was Slovakia with 583 National currency per tonne, Spain with 2,137 National currency per tonne and Italy with 3,346 National currency per tonne.
