Historically, production of cars per 1,000 people in Sweden reached an all time high of 44.0 vehicles in 1995 and an all time low of 13.8 vehicles in 2009. When compared to Sweden's main peers, production of cars per 1,000 people in Finland amounted to 21.1 vehicles and 11.1 vehicles in Russia in 2019.
