Production of cattle hides reached 25,416 tonnes in 2014 in Peru, according to Faostat. This is 2.25 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, production of cattle hides in Peru reached an all time high of 26,000 tonnes in 2013 and an all time low of 10,197 tonnes in 1963. When compared to Peru's main peers, production of cattle hides in Bolivia amounted to 21,736 tonnes, 860,450 tonnes in Brazil, 26,765 tonnes in Chile and 88,276 tonnes in Colombia in 2014.
