Production of motor vehicles reached 142 thousand in 2020 in Slovenia, according to ACEA. This is 28.8 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, production of motor vehicles in Slovenia reached an all time high of 213 thousand in 2009 and an all time low of 93.7 thousand in 2013. When compared to Slovenia's main peers, production of motor vehicles in Austria amounted to 105 thousand, 406 thousand in Hungary and 777 thousand in Italy in 2020.

Motor vehicles include cars, buses, and freight vehicles but do not include two-wheelers.
