Production of protein crops reached 67.0 kt in 2015 in Hungary, according to Eurostat. This is 36.7% more than in the previous year.

Historically, production of protein crops in Hungary reached an all time high of 132 kt in 1998 and an all time low of 32.2 kt in 2003.
