Production of skimmed cows' milk reached 2,847 kt in 2014 in Italy, according to Faostat. This is the same as in the previous year.
Historically, production of skimmed cows' milk in Italy reached an all time high of 3,965 kt in 1999 and an all time low of 1,274 kt in 1963. When compared to Italy's main peers, production of skimmed cows' milk in Austria amounted to 1,087 kt, 10,900 kt in France, 181 kt in Slovenia and 791 kt in Switzerland in 2014.
