Historically, production of skimmed cows' milk in Nicaragua reached an all time high of 42.8 kt in 1976 and an all time low of 9.09 kt in 2013. When compared to Nicaragua's main peers, production of skimmed cows' milk in Costa Rica amounted to 145 kt, 4.37 kt in El Salvador, 132 kt in Honduras and 415 kt in Mexico in 2014.
