Historically, production of primary vegetables in Cuba reached an all time high of 4,005 kt in 2004 and an all time low of 130 kt in 1970. When compared to Cuba's main peers, production of primary vegetables in Dominican Republic amounted to 507 kt, 273 kt in Jamaica, 14,328 kt in Mexico and 33,119 kt in USA in 2016.
