Historically, production of primary vegetables in Denmark reached an all time high of 350 kt in 1985 and an all time low of 183 kt in 1965. When compared to Denmark's main peers, production of primary vegetables in Germany amounted to 3,745 kt, 4,986 kt in Netherlands, 203 kt in Norway and 370 kt in Sweden in 2016.
