Historically, production of primary vegetables in Eritrea reached an all time high of 61.1 kt in 2017 and an all time low of 25.0 kt in 1993. When compared to Eritrea's main peers, production of primary vegetables in Djibouti amounted to 39.3 kt, 105 kt in Somalia, 3,362 kt in Sudan and 440 kt in Yemen in 2018.
