Production of primary vegetables reached 360 kt in 2016 in Kuwait, according to Faostat. This is 2.41 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, production of primary vegetables in Kuwait reached an all time high of 408 kt in 2013 and an all time low of 2.20 kt in 1961. When compared to Kuwait's main peers, production of primary vegetables in Bahrain amounted to 15.4 kt, 839 kt in Iraq, 14,294 kt in Iran and 1,154 kt in Saudi Arabia in 2016.
