Production of primary vegetables reached 182 kt in 2016 in Latvia, according to Faostat. This is 6.14 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, production of primary vegetables in Latvia reached an all time high of 874 kt in 1991 and an all time low of 106 kt in 2000. When compared to Latvia's main peers, production of primary vegetables in Belarus amounted to 1,902 kt, 63.2 kt in Estonia, 193 kt in Lithuania and 16,293 kt in Russia in 2016.
