Production of primary vegetables reached 4,995 kt in 2016 in Myanmar, according to Faostat. This is 1.49 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, production of primary vegetables in Myanmar reached an all time high of 5,071 kt in 2015 and an all time low of 463 kt in 1961. When compared to Myanmar's main peers, production of primary vegetables in China amounted to 540,840 kt, 119,906 kt in India, 1,708 kt in Laos and 2,756 kt in Thailand in 2016.
