Public Debt (Local Currency) in Syria

Public debt reached SYP 838 bil in 2010 in Syria, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 6.54% more than in the previous year.

Historically, public debt in Syria reached an all time high of SYP 1,481 bil in 2002 and an all time low of SYP 509 bil in 1990.

Syria has been ranked 66th within the group of 170 countries we follow in terms of public debt.
