Historically, pulse production in Portugal reached an all time high of 99.0 kt in 1973 and an all time low of 0.500 kt in 1961. When compared to Portugal's main peers, pulse production in France amounted to 6.00 kt, 16.1 kt in Ireland, 32.3 kt in Morocco and 57.0 kt in Spain in 2014.
