Based on a comparison of 46 countries in 2016, China ranked the highest in railways goods transported in million of tonnes with 1,196,060 Mt followed by India and Japan. On the other end of the scale was Albania with 7.00 Mt, Armenia with 44.0 Mt and Montenegro with 84.0 Mt.
